Platelet-Derived Extracellular Vesicles for the Treatment of Achilles Tendinopathy

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate safety and preliminary efficacy for the use of PEP Drug Product [Rion] for the treatment of Achilles tendinopathy. We hypothesize that PEP Drug Product will be well tolerated at the proposed dose and the cytoprotective and biologic mechanism of action will result in improved patient outcomes, recovery from injury, and return to duty.
