Photobiomodulation for Performance Enhancement, Injury Prevention, and Improved Recovery in the Military Training Setting

This study proposes to perform two parallel lines of study: 1) using pre-clinical in vitro culture and in vivo animal systems to elucidate the dose-response and mechanism(s) involved in photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT) effects on cellular components of the musculoskeletal system; 2) provide expertise for application of PBMT for treatment of musculoskeletal injuries at military treatment facilities.
