Readiness During Pregnancy and Postpartum in Female Soldiers
This project entails conducting a survey aimed at gathering feedback from active-duty female service members who have experienced pregnancy and childbirth during their service. Its objective is to evaluate the perceived obstacles and support systems concerning programs designed to aid their return to peak readiness post-pregnancy, while also examining the correlation between pregnancy and musculoskeletal (MSK) injury risk. The strategy involves distributing QR codes in women’s health and primary care clinics, inviting eligible individuals to scan the code and participate in the survey. Insights gleaned from this endeavor offer the potential to significantly influence policies pertaining to postpartum readiness.
